Sammie, 28lbs of pure stubborn energy. A mighty little dog if there ever was one. Spirit, sweetness and strength all rolled into one. With age you have grown even sweeter and make far more noises. Moans and groans when we pet you that voice your gratitude. But it is we who are thankful for you….

Something’s happened to Sammie. She started wearing thick rimmed glasses even though she has perfect vision. She knows all the coolest bands, but you wouldn’t know who they are, so she doesn’t bother mentioning their names. Her thrift store finds are one of a kind so don’t bother stealing her style. I don’t think I’ve seen a grumpier Santa Claus than Sammie. You’d think with all the Holiday cheer in the air, she would be grinning ear to ear. Especially since she has a stocking full of toys thanks to her loving parents. Yes, our dogs have their own stockings…we are those people. Not really sure…

Sammie and Olive basically have two speeds. Super hyper drive – PLAY WITH ME RIGHT NOWWWWW!!! And…sleep. While on a peaceful winters day walk, Milan and I decided we should bring our much loved pups with us to one of our favorite spots. Our little spot features views that help revive our country loving hearts….
