An unkind morning. My 4 month old puppy, Sammie paces at the foot of our bed, whining at 6am. I hope if we ignore her she will fall back asleep, uh-huh sure she will. My husband gets up to check our living room for any disasters we may be fearing. After inspection of the living room everything is fine, no unpleasant surprises-check. Next backyard, gasp…..Our lush, beautiful green fern has been massacred, by a 13 pound pup. The next thought that goes through my mind, are ferns poisonous to puppies? Oh, Google thank you for your wondrous knowledge at 6am when the vet office is closed. Ferns are not poisonous, okay, I think I can go back to sleep.
