Yesterday, I felt like I had a touch of OCD as I obsessively checked the hour-by-hour status for the weather, as if looking out the window wasn’t enough every five minutes. We have had to reschedule several times due to bad weather and I was not letting that happen again. After doing much begging and pleading with the looming clouds the weather held off and actually lent itself to beautiful soft light.
I couldn’t have been more excited to work with Matt and Melinda. First of all they are probably the nicest people…ever. Second they are such an adorable couple. I think every third frame or so I couldn’t help but tell them how cute they are. And they are super fun.
Plus I got to shoot at New Clairvaux Vineyard which I have been dying to shoot at. If you ever have a chance to go out there I highly recommend it as it is a beautiful place and they do wine tastings throughout the week. The vineyard is taken care of by Trappist Monks and was founded in 1955, but the vineyard and some of its structures date back to the 1890′s when it was owned by Leland Stanford.
Thank you Matt and Melinda for choosing me as your photographer! I can’t wait to shoot your wedding in July at Centerville Estates.
